To my son,

You made me a mother. You also showed me that it is possible to:

1. go through 216 diapers in less than 3 weeks
2. gain 1/3 of your body weight in 2 weeks
3. grow an inch and a half in 2 weeks
4. do absolutely nothing--and be the most interesting thing in the room
5. never get too much beauty sleep
