I'm not going to pretend that my blog will ever be very interesting, or updated very frequently, I have a hard enough time writing in a journal :) but maybe, I might drop a few inspiring thoughts, or experience a few lightbulb/genius moments. Who knows
Aaron turned 25 today. I've been giving him a hard time, telling him that I was in the 6th grade when he was a sophomore, or that he's 300 months old and I'm only 252. He's really good about going with it, makes it fun. His parents came down to help celebrate and yesterday Glade, Corinne, Aaron, Tyler (Aaron's little brother) and I spent the day together, Aaron and I also got to take our engagement pictures. Glade does a great job and any way that makes it cheaper and easier and less stressful I'll take. It was tons of fun just getting to smile and feel beautiful. That's one of the things I love about Aaron, even if I don't think I'm beautiful, he tells me that I'm beautiful every single day (often more than once) and he means it. He really means it.
But...I made Aaron a cake, a carrot cake, and it has 300 candles on it. That cake, once those candles are lit will be au flambe, and the top layer will basically be wax. I'm excited to see his reaction to it. Buying all those candles at the grocery store was interesting. I mean, who buys over 300 candles at one time, even if they are on sale.
