I'm miles away... so I gave him a phone call home and a nice long chat, I don't think he would have had it any other way!

Well . . . I kind of didn't give my dad anything . . . haha :) But I always try to recommit to do the things he taught me to do, and be the person he would want me to be. I want to make him proud of me. So, in a way, I give him my life and hope that somehow he can guide me away from the shortcomings and toward a better me. The only other "dad" in my life at present is my brother, Trevor. I sent him a text. Haha! It was a big deal, if you think about how far we've come in our lives!
ooooh I love that print!
I got my dad a card and called him, haha. lame I know... but we are far away and are poor. I got Adam a new electric razor because he's had the same one since he was 16 and since he is a big kid now, I felt like it was time for him to look a little more dapper :)

Cute Print!
We made our daddy a super hero food kit (found on pinterest haha) because even though he still has one year of school left, he's our hero for finishing his last semester in the classroom and will be able to be home more with us and no homework! He's our hero for sure!

I did a "Daddy quiz" with each child (that could talk). It was fun to hear the answers and get the "raw" truth from a child. Then I put candy in a jar and decorated it with a paper tie. "Love you to pieces". Here's the link http://creativelychristy.blogspot.com/
My dad bought his own gift and just told us we could pitch in to help pay for it! Which gave me a good laugh because growing up I always wanted money as a gift so I could either pay bills or buy my own thing and he always told me he refused to do that because thats not what it is all about!!! funny how things change!!
Love the print as well!! How fun! My email is rlmorrison08@gmail.com
